The work is carried out in cooperation with the Laboratory of Anatomy of microorganisms of Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N.F.Gamaley and Moscow State Medical and Dental University named after A.I.Evdokimov (MSMDU).
As a result of the work, new data will be gained for treatment of biofilms formed on denture blanks, prostheses, dental instruments and dental suction systems.
Today the generation of biofilms on dental denture blanks, dentures and dental salivary aspirator hoses in dentistry organizations is a prominent problem.
As a result of preliminary studies and further planned research it is very likely to address the question of struggle with these microbial associations.
According to the research it is planned to publish a scientific paper detailing the course of the experiment and the proposed solutions to this problem. On the basis of the research, together with Scientific and Research Institute of Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare) there will be developed Guidelines for disinfection and cleaning of dental prosthodontic preparations, dentures and dental salivary aspirator hoses in dentistry organizations, first for approval in the Moscow region with a possible extension to other areas of the Russian Federation.
